To calculate local astronomical visibility, target altitude curves, and night sky conditions in the planner section, the website may request access to your device's geolocation (latitude, longitude, and elevation).

Geolocation data is processed locally in your browser (or transiently in-memory for calculation requests) and is never stored on our servers, saved to a database, or shared with third parties. You can revoke location access at any time through your browser settings or enter coordinates manually.

Server Logs

For cybersecurity purposes, prevention of abuse, and to ensure technical stability, the hosting infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) may automatically log technical data implicitly transmitted by internet communication protocols (such as IP addresses, timestamps, and browser headers). This data is managed directly by the cloud provider in compliance with applicable security regulations and is never cross-referenced or used by the website owner to track individual users.

This website is a non-commercial, personal project. Because no tracking or personal data collection takes place, no cookie banners or complex processing registers are needed.
